Time To Prepare For Gardens - Seeds, Storage, and Super Fertilizer

Waiting until late spring to order seeds and special fertilizers is a sure way not to be ready to plant when the time is right. I felt that this is something that everyone should be getting ready to do with the pricing of food going up over the next year with all the need laws in place to control the food supply. These I have purchased and used myself. Now days I am not the strongest person and planting gardens is not feasible with my health, so I plant container gardens. Where ever you plant, check out the offers below and remember, Not ALL Seeds are Equal, Not All Fertilizers Are Equal, and storage of what you plant is important. Learn how.

It is never to early to get ready to plant your garden for the next year. If you are going to want the best Crops that taste good, but also can provide your family with nutrient rich foods. These seeds are not just any seeds. These seeds are heirloom seeds that could be even more valuable than gold or silver in a survival situation. Seeds are the perfect barter item! And with heirloom seeds, you harvest your crops and seeds, which you save for the next year. If you have more seeds than you can use, barter away.

By handpicking the seeds, you ensure that you have seeds that are not genetically modified in any way. There is no "kill seed germination for next generation" genetically imprinted in the seeds since they are not genetically altered. If you live within close proximity to farms that do use genetically modified seeds, there could be cross contamination from the Genetically Altered Crops to your seeds. If you purchase your seeds elsewhere it is very important that you ensure that what you buy is not genetically modified. I believe that you are much like me and my family, non modified seeds makes the foods better than what we can buy in the store.

ProtoGrow™‘s ingredients were developed by a researcher in Maine. The product contains no harmful chemicals whatsoever. Its ingredients are a unique blend of the micronutrients from a very special kelp extract and the macronutrients from North Atlantic fish. (Fish emulsion is a natural source of a large number of major plant nutrients) Why North Atlantic kelp? For years it was a widely held belief that Atlantic kelp extract had almost magical properties. When a plant became exposed to this amazing substance, it grew like crazy!

From my last year plants, I can tell you that the growth was amazing as well as the flavor, even in my planters on a partial covered patio. I was totally shocked to get Strawberries that were twice as big as the ones the year before and much sweeter. I sprayed on my Blueberry's as well as the Tomatoes. This is worth the money, especially with the cost of food going up. It will  pay for itself in not time at all.

I remember my Grandparents bring out jars and jars of foods that have been preserved, dehydrated, and canned (which should be called glassed). It was the most amazing food you have ever tasted. The Peas, Corn and Tomatoes I remember best because we would sneak out in to the garden and pick tomatoes right off the vines and eat them like apples. Then we would go in for dinner and have more fresh tomatoes, corn on the cob that had been blanched and frozen, and desert was simple graham crackers with preserves. My Grandparents would teach us how to cook, but never how to can or freeze foods. They must have felt that America would never get in this condition again.

I don't know half of the stuff my parents and grandparents new about growing and storing fresh vegetables. Last year I purchased by accident 6 sets of this and gave them out to family since they were paid for. My youngest sister said she learned so much from the information. She is using the DVD and CD's Daily.

I know you are thinking I am nuts, but I am betting that the prices of food and storage items are going to be raising over the next few months. I hope you take a look and see if these are of interest to you.

The next set will be on Dehydrators and Vacuums Sealers. I hope you check in.
